Día de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday where the deceased are honored and their spirits are welcomed for an earthly visit to reunite with friends and family. The holiday is a festive time to celebrate the life of loved ones who have passed away but still live on in our hearts and memories. In Mexico, the festival is an exuberant celebration with music, preparation of altars, figures of skeletons, incense, food, drinks, flowers and photographs.

Join us at URBE for Día de los Muertos and leave Houston for a night as we share this wonderful holiday with you. On the evening of Thursday, November 2 we will commemorate the day as they would in Mexico and close the restaurant for regular dinner service to host a special celebration. The night will be full of Chef Hugo’s vibrant street food with interactive stations and custom cocktails, music, a face painter, festive decorations and even prizes for the best dressed!
